Wesport Goal Company.

MINE ON FIRE. Westport, March 1. It was receiyed in Westport last night, that the Wesport Coal Coy’s mine at Millerton was on fire., The company refused to give particulars. It . appears the fire broke out yesterday morning in the main haulage way through an old work* Ing, and as there is only one exit consequently all work is stoppedx It will probably be a considerable time before work can be resumed. The mine employs 250 men.
