THE WAIPIRO MURDERS. Tolago Bay, December 13.
Hoiiepa te Pjim and Hira te Phi, of Akuaku, were charged at Poro Awanui on the 10th December, before Mr J. Booth, R.M., with the crime of the wilful murder of Frank Pook and Jane Pook, and on the application of the police were remanded for eight days.
Sir H. A. Blake is said to have resigned the appointment of Governor of Queensland,
