Change is the order of the day in the De tective Department, Walker and McGrath, now of Auckland, will shortly be transferred to Dunedin ; Chief Detective Browne; of Wellington, is under orders to proceed tio Auckland ; and Detective Kirby will be brought from Dunedin to Wellington.
