Stanley's Movements.
A dispatch from St. Paul de Loando, dated September 9th, received at London, states that Major Bartellot had received news from the African explorer, dated July 12th. He was then ten days' march in the interior, and still proceeding by the Aruwimi, which ho found navigable a^ove the rapids. He expected to arrive on July 22nd at the centre of the Mabodi district, and reach Wadelai by the middle of August. Advices from Zanzibar to hand September 17th mention that messengers sent by the Consuls to apprise Emm Bey that an expedition under Stanley had been sent to his relief, have returned. He states that they reached Lake Albert Nyanza, when they met Emm Bey, and warned his troops occupying posts on tho western shore of the Lake of tho near approach of Stanley. Tho messengers also report that a fierce war had been waged against the King of Uganda and tho people of Ungoroa, in which the former was defeated. The country between Lake Albert Nyanza and Lake Matanzique was devastated by the. belligerents,
