In the Wairl en's Couit this afternoon, the case, 11. Mo Williams, M. Kelly, and 11. T. Howe v. Louis Melhose, was concluded, and the Warden reserved judgment until to-morrow at noon. SUCCESSFUL FLOATING OF AUCK- , LAND MINING COMPANIES. Auckland, Last NighL Information has been received by private cable to-day that Thomas Formery, manager of the Kapanga mine, has> floated the Conquering Hero mine, Coromandel, in London, and is also arranging to place two othi i" properties on the market to work the ground taken up adjoining the Tokatea mine. Information has been also received that 18,000 shares in the Telephone Co. were sold in London for £10,000 cash. The Telephone Co.'s ground includes, besides the old Union Beach ground, the United and Golden Pah licenses. Forthe : '- interest in the former mine, nine local shareholders wore allowed 18,000 shares in Telephone but as they did not not care to lemain in the new ventiue they placed their shaies on the London maiket, with the result already mentioned. The new ventuie will now be known as the Coionuudel Gold Mining Company.
