ANARCHY IN IRELAND. THE POLICE BAYONET CORK RIOTERS. The No-Rent Agitation.
London, December 6. The anti-rent agitation in Ireland is increasing daily. Mass meetings were held yeßterday in different parts of the country for thepurpoae of discussing the question.. Several prominent Irish members of Parliament who were present delivered speeches, in which they advocated the non-payment of rents without proper abatement of rents by the landlords. Serious rioting took place in Cork yesterday evening. The police charged the mob, wounding many of the rioters.
