Union* —There is every probability that this company's 'property will be floated on the English market at an early date, and judging from the avidity with which mining companies from Queensland and other places are taken up, I feel sure but little difficulty will be experienced in flonting the whole concern. This should be the more easily accomplished, seeing that there is now in London a 20 ton parcel of ore from the mine, and the results obtainable from the treatment of this at Swansea should afford convincing proof to capitalists of the value of the property. Roscrnont. —The main adit level is now in a distance of 520 ft, the last "few feet of driving having been done along the course of a reef about 18 inches in width, and though there is no gold visiable in the stone, mortar prospects of that metal are obtainable. Winner. —Good headway is being made with the low lerel, which is now in consideiably over 300 feet, and the main load will be to hand very shortly.
