Gisborne, April 20. Further reports from Waiapu district show that the previous report was exaggerated, The pa has been burnt by the opposing natives, but no lives were lost in tho fire. Tho report that four lives were lost thero arose from tho fact that two natives were'burnt to death in an accidental Gre near there a few days previously. Some are said to have been injured in the burning of the pa, and several narrow escapes
