POLITICAL CRISIS IN FRANCE. Fall of the Cabinet Impending. (SPECIAL TO PRESS ASSOCIATION.)
London, Nov. 17. The French Radicals are furious at the refusal of M. Brisson to grant a plenary amnesty to the rebels in Tonquin and Madagascar, and his desire to take active measures in those countries. It is considered that the fall of the Cabinet is inevitable.
A Maori census will be taken early next year.; Says Sir George Whitmore— -"Auckland is the best, military place we have." TJhree boys, for stealing jewellery at Dunedin, have been handed over to their, parents for punishment. . ,
