HEAVY CHRISTMAS TRADE. By Cable. — Press Association.—Copyright. (Rec. Dec. 27, 10.15) SYDNEY, Dec. 27. The city is crowded with visitors, and the Christmas trade has been heavy, despite the extreme prices. The morning papers published on Christmas Day but not to-day. The heat wave which prevailed last week has broken. To-day the weather is cool and showery. The outlook for the holiday is dubious. FIRE IN MELBOURNE. TECHNICAL COLLEGE (Rec. De<v27, 10.15) MELBOURNE, Dec. 27. Fire destroyed the Brunswick Technical College. The damage is heavy. ■
