WEDDING.
An interesting and very pretty wedding waß solemnised at All Saints' Church, Sumner, to-day, the Rev. Canon Bean and the Rev. J. de B. Galwey being the officiating clergymen. The bridegroom was Mr R. L. Anderson, son of Or and Mrs £. W. Anderson, Sydenham, and the bride Miss E. N. Jamieson, daughter of Mr and Mrs H. C. S. Jamieson, Esplanade, Sumner, and the ceremony was witnessed by a large number of friends and well-wishers of the young couple. The bride was escorted to the altar by her father, and wore an exquisite frock of white accordion-pleated georgette, cut on simple, elegant lines, and worn with a tunic of silver brocade, finished with silver. tassels and a silver girdle. Her tulle veil was prettily arranged and worn with a circlet of orangle blossoms. She completed her toilette with a lovely sheaf of Madonna lilies. Miss D. Jamieson (sister of the bride) was the maid of honour, and wore a charming frock of mastic-coloured georgette with henna-coloured embroideries, her hat being a chic French model in the same colour, with touches of blue. She carried an Early Victorian posy of old-fashioned flowers, in lieu of the usual shower bouquet. Little Dorothy Wills (niece of the bride) attended as flower girl in a frilly pink georgette frock, and lace straw hat, trimmed with pink. Mr R. C. Jamieson (brother of the bride) accompanied the bridegroom as best man. ' After the ceremony, a number of friends and relatives of both families met at a reception given by Mr and Mrs Jamieson at their home on the Esplanade. Later on, Mr and Mrs Anderson left on their wedding trip, the bride wearing a stylish fawn-coloured costume and hat en suite.
