ALLEGED "GRAFT."
INQUIRY IN SYDNEY. STOPPING WHEAT COMMISSION. By Cable. — Press Association. — Copyright. (Rec. Dec. 7, 8.55) SYDNEY, Dec. 7. The "graft" inquiry has concluded the taking of evidence. The Hon. G. Cann repeated the statement that Mrs Georgeson told him that £SOO was given for the purpose of shutting up the Wheat Commission. He added that he went to Melbourne in order to put the case before his colleagues.
