INDIAN ELECTIONS.
VICTORY FOR MODERATES.

By Cable. — Press Association. — Copyright. Renter's telegrams. (Rec. Dec. 7, 11.45) DELHI, Dec. 6. The elections for the new councils are not yet complete. They show poor voting. Many prominent members of the late Legislative Council have been elected, and the new Legislative Assembly will contain a large percentage of Moderates. The result of the*polls indicates that the new Constitution will have every chance of success despite the fact that a considerable portion of political influence remains outside the Council, due to Gandhi's non-co-operation propaganda.
