Six tugs towed her to Gravesend, where she again broke loose and ran ashore, after colliding with and sinking the 2000-ton collier Fairfield. A SCHOONER WRECKED. Two men, including an unnamed trader at the group, were drowned. UNION S.S. COMPANY. The Kamo left Lyttelton last night for Westport, where she will load for Bluff and Dunedin. The Kittawa is expected back at Lyttelton on Thursday with a cargo of timber from Greymouth. The iutercolonial steamer Manuka is due here to-morrow morning from Sydney, via Wellington, and will sail that night on the return trip. The Trewellard, due at Wellington yesterday from Adelaide and Newcastle, has for discharge a mixed freight, including general cargo, coal, superphosphates, and a quantity of sugar. The Talune Is to leave Auckland to-day for Rarotonga and Papeete. KINSEY & CO. The Somerset left here yesterday afternoon for Dunedin, where she will land portion of her New York cargo, and will afterwards go to Australia with the balance. The Gambada has been timed to sail tomorrow for Dunedin to continue discharge Of her New York freight. She will finish discharge at Australia. The Baden-Powell sailed this afternoon With general cargo for Wellington. The Huddart-Parker steamer Westralia having been delayed by misty weather was not expected to reach Wellington until this morning, or a day later than her timetable. She is due at Lyttelton on Thursday, and will sail the same evening for Dunedin'. CANTERBURY S.S. COMPANY. The Calm Is expected here to-morrow morning from Dunedin, via Timaru, to lift the cargo offering for Wellington. The Breeze should be back at Lyttelton on Friday morning from the south, and will sail the same evening cargo-laden for Picton. The Storm is now at Port Chalmers undergoing her annual overhaul, which is expected to be completed In time for the vessel to resume her running in the new year. P. E. SUTTON Jk CO. WESTPORT COAL COMPANY. The Canopus Is to sail to-night for West, port, where she will load another cargo of coal for LytteUon and Timaru. On completion of discharge at the southern port the vessel will proceed to Port Chalmers for her annual overhaul. OVERSEAS VESSELS.' The Armagh is to leave Wellington today for Bluff, thence Glsborne and Napier. The vessel will complete loading at Wellington, and is set down for sailing on December 23 for Liverpool. The Tahiti Is to leave Vancouver on December 20 for Honolulu, Wellington and Sydney. The Kathlamba, now discharging New York cargo at Auckland, is expected at Wellington on December 16. The S.S. and A. liner Tairoa. at present at Gisbornc, taking in cargo, will later visit Whakatane and Auckland. She has been fixed to sail from the last-named port for Boston and New York about December 18. The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Suffolk is to sail from Wellington on Thursday for London, via Panama. The Niagara arrived at Auckland from Vancouver yesterday afternoon, and is to be dispatched this evening for Sydney. The Kaikoura will not leave Wellington for Timaru until the end of this week. A cable message received by the Commonwealth and Dominion Line, stated that the Port Melbourne, en route from New York to New Zealand and Australian ports, left £6lon on December 3. The Port Melbourne is due at Auckland about December 28, and at Wellington about a week later. The U.S. and A. Line chartered steamer Nokatay is now discharging 15,000 cases of oil and 522 tons of general cargo at Wellington from New York. Her other ports of call are Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. The C. and D. liner Port Victor, after completing her cargo at Wellington, is to sail on Thursday for Home. Thd Paparoa, from Southampton, left Newport News on December 3, lor Lyttclton. The Trcvalgan, from Montreal, left Newpert News on December 1, for Auckland.
