CHARGES DENIED.
MURDER OF KOREANS. THREAT BY JAPANESE. By Cable. — Press Association. — Copyright. (A. & N.Z.) TOKIO, Dec. 4. The Japanese Military Commission at Chien-tao, Manchuria, has written to the Canadian missionaries, denying their recent I charge that Japanese troops massacred Koreans and burned villages. [The letter states that the military exjpedition was due to the fact that the , Chinese authorities co-operated with 'the outlaws, and insists that only lactive insurgents were killed. The letter gives warning that any spiritjual or material assistance that the British missionaries may give to the Korean malcontents will lead to a jbreach of understanding between [the two countries, and also that if jßritish Christians assist the Korean ;outlaws, Japanese Buddhisls will be entitled to assist the anti-British ele'ments in India.
