GREAT WHEAT POOL.

Winnipeg reports state that thefarmers of Western Canada are organising a gigantic grain pool, in the effort to increase wheat prices. The organisation is said to be favoured by all three provincial farmers' bodies. It is planned tobecome operative for the 1920 crops. The scheme provides that contract holders must sign for five years,, binding themselves to sell their wheat only through the pool, which will embrace 8,000,000 acres—so percent, of the total wheat acreage.
