Lloyd George, at the banquet tendered to him by the Constitutional Club, made a bitter attack on Mr Asquith, Sir John Simon, and other Liberals, for not supporting the Government in the Sinn Fein. They, he said, were "little imitation Gladstones, who were going about denouncing gallant men as Bashibazouks." The forces of law and order in Ireland were entitled to the support of every honest citizen, whether Liberal or Conservative. REPUBUCAN~ALLEGATION. DEATH OF MR McSWINEY. (A. & N.Z.) LONDON, Dec. 3. The "Sunday Times" says that documents seized show that the Chief of Staff of the Republican Army issued an order stating that the constabulary was an important factor in Mr McSwiney's fate. Many of them signed a memorial that they would resign if he were released. MORE INCENDIARISM. A CASTLE BURNED. (A. A N.Z.) LONDON, December 4. Timoleague Castle, south of Cork, and an adjoining residence belonging to Mr Robert Travels, were burned. The damage is estimated at £25,000.
