MYSTERIOUS PLAGUE THREATENING PARIS.
NAMELESS DISEASES INTRODUCED FROM EAST. (Reuter.) (Bee. December 6, 8.45 a.m.) PARIS, December 4. A mysterious Eastern malady, resembling plague, was reported in-ihe Senate to be threatening Paris. The disease is nameless, and is known as Number Nine. It attacks immigrants from Eastern Europe. The Minister of Health said special mobile ambulances, doctors and nurses would be organised as a brigade against the plague.
