COAL FOR THRESHING.
SUPPLIES FROM NEWCASTLE. Press Association. WELLINGTON, December 6, The Prime Minister (Rt. Hon. W. F. Massey) slates that the whole of the Biloela’s shipment of Newcastle coal, comprising 4000 to 5000 tons, is to be set aside for threshing requirements, The greatest care will have to be taken to make the allocation go as far as possible. Every effort is to be made to allot further supplies as opportunity offers. Mr Massey says that brown or New Zealand coals should be mixed with the Newcastle coal to make it go further.
