CHRIST'S COLLEGE.

ANNUAL SPORTS. The students of Christ's College were fortunate in choosing yesterday for their annual sports meeting, which was held on the college football ground. The weather was ideal in every respect, and a large gathering of interested spectators was present all day. Some good racing was witnessed, although no records were broken. R. 0. Talbot registered a good performance in the 120 yds hurdles, in which lie equalled the record of 16jscc. N. D. Cox, who carried off the 100 yds, quartermile, end mile events, won the Old Boys' Championship Cup (tenable for a year). The following are the concluding results of the meeting:— High Jump, open. At the conclusion of the sports programme, the prizes were presented to the winners by Mrs Carrington, wife of the Very Rev. the Dean of Christchurch.
