About a dozen friends were present, and the guests of honour were wished the pleasantest of trips and the safest of returns before the gathering dispersed. While H.M.S. Renown was in Sydney, the engagement was announced of MiDaniel .1. Enright. D.S.O, and bar, commissioned gunner, R.X. eldest son of the late John Enright and Mrs EnTight, of Sydenham House. Brockhurst, Gosport, Hants, and Emily Murray, youngest daughter of the late J. G. Murray and Mrs Murray, of Cashmere Hills, Christchurch. Miss Murray is an ardent war worker in her home town. Mr Enright has seen considerable war . service. He was in command of H.M.T.B. 91 from 1914 to 1918, was mentioned in dispatches, awarded the D.S.C., and received the thanks of both British and French Adnvralty.
