The meat in No. 2 and No. 5 holds in the shelter deck of the Admiral Codrington is badly damaged, and is believed to be lit" only for boiling down. Seven hundred carcases and 800 cases of offal have already been condemned. The remainder of the cargo is apparently well frozen, but is somewhat stale.
