UNIVEESITY MATCH. Press Association. FEILDING, August lfi. The Auckland University mid Wellington Victoria University College hockey teams met here on Saturday for their first match since the. outbreak of War. The match was arranged hy the l'cilding Hockey Association, which provided hospitality for the teams. The playing ground was somewhat damp, but a good game resulted. Auckland, who showed the finer stick work, and put more vigour into their strokes, won hy 3 goals to -J. . Wellington attacked strongly during the last stages, hut Auckland's defence was sound.
