DURGLESS HEALING.

THE LATEST LOCAL ENTERPRISE. Not least among the many, many things we learned in the Great War was the value of electrical and chiropractic treatment in cases of disease and nervous disorder. Two New Zealanders, Messrs Hall and Xing, impressed with the possibilities of these sciences, left these, shores to study them, graduated in the California!) Chiropractic College and also in the San Francisco X-Ray and Electro-Therapeutic Laboratories, and have recently returned to Christclmrch, bringing with them one of the finest, if not the finest, electrical plants in ths countrv.

The "entire top floor of the High Street Chambers has been converted into consulting and treatment rooms for Messrs Hall and King, and it is here that they have housed their magnificent electrical equipment. The rooms are marvels of comfort and convenience, and comprise, in addition to the consulting and waiting rooms, six dressing cubicles and five treatment rooms. The comfort and convenience of patients are studied first, last, and all the time. For those unfamiliar with this side of medical science it might be mentioned that electrical and chiropractic treatment is most successful in nenras-

thenia, neuritis, sciatica, rheumatism, constipation, chronic headache, etc. Goitre is cured successfully without any pain or discomfort, and nasal catarrh is treated by generating ozone, usually associated with sanatoria, but available .here always. A massive installation in one of these treatment rooms generates a terrific voltage of electricity, which is of especial value when used in cases of nervous breakdown or general debility. Electrical facilities are also provided for the treatment of high blood pressure and obesity. Indeed, there are few ailments in which electricity cannot be used with decidedly beneficial effects.

Messrs Hall and King, however, couple-up with these methods the onetime despised, but now favoured, system of chiropractic treatment. The almost

magical cures made in cases of longstanding sickness, and even in physical deformities, have satisfied all but the most sceptical of the value of chiropractic. The method is sane, simple, and rapid. It goes right down to root causes of trouble. Even the common headache cannot withstand its advances.
