There are at present on view locally several samples of stone from Bald Bock, North Auckland, a hill of stone some 7">o feet in height. Experts declare that the supply of stone at that place is practically inexhaustible, and that it is ideal for both road metal and for building stone. As the demand for those classes of stone is so urgent and extensive, it is proposed to get out the metal for the making of roads and buildings. With that purpose in view, the Pukckaroro Quarries, Ltd.," is being formed with a capital of £IOO,OOO, and 00,000 shares are being offered to the public.
