IMMIGRATION RETURNS.
FIGURES FOR JULY. Press Association. WELLINGTON, August 12. Immigration returns show that during the month of July 3G06 persons arrived in New Zealand, a% compared with "1765 in July last year. Of the arrivals last mouth," 1529 came from the United Kingdom, and 1832 from the Commonwealth. Departures totalled 2942, as against 995. The bulk of those who left New Zealand last month went to Australia. Arrivals during last month exceeded departures by 60' L while in July, last year, the gain was 770.
