The Monowai left last night for Dunedin, and is due back at Lyttelton on Sunday morning to finish loading for Wellington, East Coast ports, and Auckland. The Navua sailed from Dunedin yesterday for Wellington and Auckland. • The Manuka did not get away from Wellington last night for Lyttelton. She is due here to-niorow morning with 800 tons of cargo to discharge, rrom here she will proceed to Port Chalmers on Saturday to Undergo survey. The Moana arrived at Wellington yesterday from Port Chalmers to relieve the Vanukn in the Intercolonial running, and nas timed to.sail to-day for Sydney. The Kokiri should now be en route from Westport with coal for discharge at Timaru. Oamaru and Dunedin. The Knmona, with a load of coal from fireymouth, may arrive at Lyttelton on Saturday. The Poherua is to leave here this evening for Westport. The Kauri left Wellington yesterday for Newcastle, where she will take in a cargo «f coal for Lyttelton. The Corinna was expected to arrive at Oamaru yesterday to take in cargo for Nelson and New Plymouth. She will finish lier loading at Timaru. .The vessel will emit Lyttelton. as the MapOurika lifted the freight offering for the northern ports mentioned. Hie is due at Bluff to-day from Sydney, and should reach Dunedin about Saturday.

OVERSEAS VESSELS.* The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rimutnka is timed to leave Wellington on Sunday for Auckland, with the remainder of her English cargo. The Ruahine is to leave Wellington on Sunday for Gisbome to complete loading for Home; The Japanese steamer Shinchiku Maru should arrive at Dunedin to-morrow evening with 4000 tons of coal for the gasworks and the Railway Department. The Leitrim, with 5000 tons of cargo from Liverpool, is due at Wellington to-morrow. She will call at Lyttelton later. The C. and D. liner Port Hacking, which arrived at Napier on Tuesday from Port Kembla, will be due on Sunday at Wellington, and is to sail on August 20 for London, via Panama. The C. and D. Line advises that the Port Curtis Is expected to leave "Auckland at daylight for Napier. The vessel is due at Wellington about Wednesday next, and will later proceed to Lyttelton, Dunedin and Australian ports. The Karamea, according to latest advice, is to leave Wellington to-morrow for Dune-i din instead of for Lyttelton as previously announced. She Is to proceed from the southern port to Melbourne and Sydney with the balance of her cargo. Cable advice has. been received by the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company to the effect that the liner Mahia left New York on August 7 for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. The Meika Maru should arrive at Wellington shortly from Japan with 4000 tons of superphosphates. Further cargoes for the North and South Island ports are on the way. It is estimated that 17,000 tons, a quantity almost sufficient for New Zealand's requirements during the coming spring, will come from Japan.
