A NEW KING'S COUNSEL.
I'rets Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, December 24. The Hon. Oliver Samuel, M.L.C., has been appointed a King's Counsel. [The Hon. Oliver Samuel was, in his early life, managing clerk for Mr W. H. S. Moorhouse, Superintendent of Canterbury. Later he practised law in New Plymouth, where he still resides. He represented New Plymouth in Uie House of Representatives from 18&1 to 181 M). and lias been a member of the Legislative Council since January, 1907.1
