\CITY AND SUBURBAN. MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. The Management Committee of the City and Suburban Cricket Association met last evening, when there were present: Messrs A. Pratt, P. Stevenson, VY. Cowlin, H. Wilson, G. Hillsdon, R. Longford, A. Martin, H. Rogers, and C. T. Rix (secretaryl. The Rovers' association, of Wellington, wrote accepting the invitation to send two teams to play ugainst the second and third grade teams at Sydenham Park on January 1 and 2. A committee consisting of Messrs 11. Rogers, Duggan, and Tillyshort was appointed to iittend to the catering arrangements. An appeal by the St. Albans Club against the decision in its match against Green's first grade team was dismissed. It was decided, in view of the unsatisfactory condition of the wickets at Sydenham Park, to cancel arrangements with the Sydenham Club regarding the preparation, and to adopt other arrangements. Teams were selected to play against Wellington on January 1 and 2 as follow: Juniors. —H. Grose, L. Stobart, G. Horwell, P. Thompson, R. Betts, T. Harold, L. Richards, Walter Cowlin, C. Falloon, and C. James, W. Yates, A. Pratt. Third Grade. —H. Bellamy, J. McCrce, C. Philpott, K. Johnston, H. Crook, W. Roberts, D. Cox, P. Howell, C. Ratchelor, W. McCormack, 11. Foster, L. MeCree, ami H. Johnston. ! BOYS' LEAGUE.
2, the following have been selected to (represent the Boys' League:— Seniors.—M. K. Boon (captain), F. N. Smith, R. W. Coupland, R. Norric, 11. Pearce, J. Dobbs, P. Heslip, Blackaby, Porteous, Pocock, Rainey, and Chamberlain. Juniors.—J. Lee, C. McLean, F. Beame, L. Worthingtoii, T. Willoughby, Powell, Godfrey, Trent, V. Hahn, J. Logic, Hoskin, and H. G. Rich. The teams are requested to attend practice on Monday and Tuesday next at 2.30 p.m., at the league ground. Any boy unable to make the trip must notify the secretary, Box 793, at once.
