"CHRISTMAS DANCE."
Mrs 11. 11. Louglinan (Avonside) gave a delightful little "Christmas Dance" at her home last evening. Dancing took place in the drawing-room, to music supplied by Miss Macdonald, extras being played by the hostess and Miss Kathleen Lucas. A tempting supper was served during the evening, the ■tables being embellished with red and white sweet peas, and the lights softened with red shades. Mrs Louglinan, who was a most successful hostess, was gowned in a beautiful blue dress, with an overdress of net, embossed in blue sequins. Amongst those present were I)r and Mrs F. Scott, Misses B. Wood, Freda Moore, Alison Sleigh, Pratt (2), M. Beadel, Paula Scherek, Eileen Lascelles, Kathleen Lucas, dessie Hill, Strachev, Hazel Hill, Stella Murray, Messrs B. and A. Louglinan, Bishop, Beadel, Virtue, G. Gerard, Edwin Wilding, Guy Lucas, C. Pearce, J. Thompson, B. Knight and Shephard.
