ARBITRATION COURT.
CHRISTCHURCH SESSION,
The Arbitration Court opened a session In the Provincial Council Chambers this afternoon. The Court comprised his Honour Mr Justice Stringer (president). Mr J. A. McCullough, employees' representative, end Mr W. Scott, employers' representative. THE PRINTING TRADE. Mr C. Renn submitted the recommendations made by the Conciliation Council in connection with the Chrlstchurch printing trade (stereotpyers' section). Mr Renn laid that the parlies desired that the complete recommendations should be made into an award, to operate as from November 28 last. The employers affected were the three newspaper companies in Chrlstchurch. The recommendations were adopted. TANNERS AND FELLMONGERS. In connection with the case of the Canterbury Freezing Works and Related Trades I tanners and fellmongers' section), Mr F. C. Ellis, representing the union, made application for the recommendations agreed to before the Conciliation Council to be made Into an award. The complete recommendations were accepted. (Proceeding.)
