Moore (Napier), Mr and Mrs G. Powell (PSlmerston North* are staying at Warner's. Nurse Kathleen Garvin (Christehureh) gave a very successful concert in Timaru last week. She was assisted by Miss V. Mitchell (-'cellist) and Mrs Mangos (pianist). Miss Hayward (Christehureh) was accompanist, arid the Timaru Orpheus Society also as sisted. Amongst recent arrivals at' • St. Elmo are Miss Broad (Greymouth). Mr and Mrs Moorhonse (Auckland), Mr and Mrs Jordan and child, and Mrs Harrison (Wellington), Mr and Mrs Waldron, Mr and Mrs Lawrence. Mr and Mrs Fitzherbert and Mr and Miss Shaw (Sydney). Miss Joan Beere. the clever young Wellington dancer, and Mrs Beere are also staying at "St. Elmo."
