NEW ZEALAND KENNEL CLUB.

Pre** AfoMatUm. WELLINGTON, November 28. At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Kennel Club held to-night, considerable discussion took place on the application of the Otago Kennel Club for affiliation as distinct from the Dunedin Fanciers' Club. The application was granted by seven votes to five. The application of the Auckland Kennel Club to hold an all-championship show at Auckland next year was refused, for the reason that it had been decided to hold a show in the South next year. The claim of the Auckland Club will be considered at a future date. The election of officers resulted:—President, Mr Paul Hunter; executive committee, Messrs A. W. Blair (Wellington), C. A. Hutton (Dunedin), A. R. V. Mosten (Canterbury), C. Erickson (Dannevirke); secretary and treasurer, Mr P. H. Smith.
