BUTCHERS' STRIKE.
MEN WILL STAND FIRM. SUGGESTION FOR SETTLEMENT. Press Association. AUCKLAND, November 29. The butchers on strike at a meeting to-day affirmed their decision to continue the fight and pledged themselves to stand firm until a settlement was reached. A suggestion has been made that the Board of Trade, which is now in Auckland, should be asked to intervene in the dispute.
