LAW COURTS "GO SLOW."

ACTION BY CHIEF JUSTICE. Press Association. WELLINGTON, November 28. The Chief Justice fixed 2 p.m. to-day for «he hearing of undefended divorce cases, and at the appointed hour there was no appearance of any of the parties. His Honour said the eases must stand over until next session, adding that there was too much going slow in the whole of the courts of law. The same thing seemed to have happened in Auckland, where only one jury case could be taken in a week out of :10 or 40 cases on the list.
