A cricket match for .the Heathcotc Williams Shield is to be played in Auckland on November 28 and 20, between the Auckland Grammar School, which holds the trophy, and King's College. Application has been made to the New Zealand Cricket Council for the game to be declared a challenge match for the shield. The council also lias been advised that the Wanganui Cricket Association will send a team to Gisborne to play the Poverty Bay Cricket Association for the Hawke Cup, on December 26, 27 and 29.
