LATE PERSONAL.
It was announced by the Minister of Defence to-day that Colonfil Herbert Ward Tate, C.8.E., had been offered, and had accepted, the position of Civil Administrator of Samoa. He went to Samoa early this year to relieve Colonel R. Logan, C.8., as Acting-Military Administrator.
