The Canopns, which was expected to ar-" rive here to-morrow from Westpnrt with a Toll cargo of coal, has been diverted to Thnarn. The Hndelnrt-Parker steamer Westralia is due at Wellington on Saturday from Melbourne with 122 passengers and 1090 tons «f cargo. She will sail on Tuesday for Lytlelton, Dunedin, Bluff, and Melbourne. The Moeraki. from Sydney, via Wellington, was due at Lyttelton this morning, but ■wing to the inclemency of the weather yestvday interfering with cargo work she had to defer sailing until this#evening.' The collier Melbourne (Hedpath and Sons, Ltd., agents; Ferrior and Co.. port agents) is now engaged nt the discharge of her cargo •f Newcastle coal at the Gladstone pier. When finished, the vessel will proceed to Greymouth to load timber for Melbourne. The Koromiko, from Newcastle with a cargo of coal, arrived in the stream at Lvttellon this morning, and will be berthed this afternoon. The Ngahere is to be taken off the Wellington patent slip to-day, after being cleaned and painted, besides having a new propeller fitted. Thereafter she will sail for Greymouth. The Mokoia's departure from Wellington for Dunedin was postponed until yesterday. According to latest advice she will not leave Dunedin until Monday for Lytteiton, and after finishing the handling of her. cargo will sail from here on Tuesday evening for ■Wellington, Auckland, Napier, and Glshorne. The Kiltawa, which has been delayed here lijr the recent broken weather at the shipping •f general cargo for Bluff, is to be disC itched this evening for Timaru to take in a rgc quantity of produce. From Bluff she ■will proceed to Greymouth. The Tahiti was expected to leave Melbourne yesterday with a full general cargo for Bluff and Dunedin. She should reach Bluff about Tuesday, and Dunedin three day**later. The Union Company's steamer Kini is now undergoing overhaul at the slip wharf, Evans Bay, Wellington. The Canterbury Company's steamer Calm lias been delayed at Wanganui by rough weather, and is not expected to reach Lyt- ■ telton from Wellington, via Picton, until Monday next. The Storm, which was also detained at Wanganui by unfavourable weather conditions, is due here late to-night from Wellington. After discharging portion of her northern freight it is probable that she will then ship cargo for Wanganui, for which port she will sail direct from Timaru. The Corinna, due at Wellington this morning from New Plymouth, has been timed to sail to-night laden with general merchandise for Dunedin. The Kanio, Kamona and Kaiapoi were ■waiting a favourable opportunity in the roadstead to enter the Greymouth harbour an Monday. A south-west gale was raging, rain was falling, and the bar was unworkable. The Kamona is to load a cargo of coal and timber for Lytteiton, but owing to the bar being still unworkable it Is not likely she will be dispatched till Monday. The Union Company's steamer Paloona, now en route with passengers from Auckland to Tonga, via Fiji and Samoa, will be replaced in the Island running by the Navua. The Paloona is expected back at Auckland about November 20. The Orepuk: bas now been fixed to sail from this port to-morrow fully laden with general cargo for Greymouth, where, after discharge, she will take in a load of timber for Lytteiton. The Wakatu, for Kaikoura and Wellington, and Invercargill for Wellington, were unable to complete cargo operations yesterday- owing: to the rain, and bad to defer aalllng until to-day. "hie New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Ruahlne was expected to leave London for New Zealand, via Cape Town, yesterday. She is due at Wellington about December ,20. The A. and A. chartered steamer City of Madras, from New York, via Auckland and Wellington, may get away from Wellington this evening for Lyttclton. The New Zealand and African Company are the local agents. The lonic, engaged at present at the discharge of portion of her Home cargo at Wellington, is to leave the north port on Saturday for Lyttclton and Port Chalmers. After loading at the southern port, and also at Timaru, she will return to Wellington about November 23, and has been set down for sailing five days later for London, via Panama. The Niagara, owing to being delayed at Auckland, has deferred her departure from that port until to-morrow for Vancouver. The Show-Savin liner Raranga is expected to reach Wellington from Australia on November 23. On completion of discharge she will load at Wellington and Napier, and is to sail from New Zealand about the middle of December for London, via Panama. The Kia Ora is due at Wellington on Saturday from Noumea. After discharge she will load at New Plymouth and Wanga--nui for London, via Australia. The British Government steamer Neumark, which left Sarago, Red Sea, on September 30 with a cargo of basic phosphates, i* due at Auckland on Wednesday. She will discharge the balance of her cargo at Wellington. , The New Zealand Shipping Companys steamer Opawa is to leave London at the I end of December for Auckland, Wellington, Lvitolton, and Port Chalmers.
