ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

BODY FOUND. Word has been received by the Christchurch police that the body of Edward Joseph Kerr has been recovered in the Clarence river, near the Bluff Homestead. Kerr, who was a rabbfter, had been missing since October 25. The body was found hung up in some willows, and it was taken into Kaikoura, where arrangements were made for an inquest to De held. SHIP'S PASSENGER POUND DEAD. "> I'rr.is Association. WELLINGTON, November 4. The police are advised that John Cullen, a passenger on the Moeraki, died suddenly at sea on Sunday last. The deceased, who was 53 years of age, and who had been residing at Goulburn, New South Wales, for some years, waa seen in his bunk at 3.30 a.m. on Sunday, apparently -well, but, when noticed at 8 a.m., he was dead. Further details are not available. SUICIDE BY~POISONINO. PALMERSTON~N., November 4. At the inquest concerning the death of Mrs Shep-Dixon, who was found dead on a bed at her husband's residence, the Government analyst's evidence showed the presence of sheep-dip in deceased's stomach. A verdict of suicide was returned.
