November 5, 8.45 a.m.) LONDON, November 2. Four small vessels were -wrecked on the Goodwin Sands in a violent gale on Saturday night. The Deal life-boatmen saw a wave wash away six people clinging to" the rigging of one vessel. All perished. Two sailors were picked up clinging to an upturned boat. The life-boat was again ealled out, and rescued two men clinging to a wreck. They saw another wreck, of which all the crew, perished. . - A steamer picked up a boat-load of survivors off Deal. 1 here are no details.
