A court-martial sentenced the Sinn Fei'.i Commoner, Ernest Blythe, to one year's imprisonment for possession of a document advocating the persecution of the relatives or the police. Blythe disclaimed knowledge of the document, and described it as abominable. lie has begun a hunger strike in the Mountjoy prison. [Blythe was arrested, together with a number of other Sinn Felners, on the premises of the Sinn Fein headquarters In Dublin, during the military raids In September last.)
