WELLINGTON CHAMPIONSHIP. WON BY CHRISTCHURCH PLAYER. Press Association. WELLINGTON, November 1. The "final of the Wellington Provincial Ladies' Golf Championship was completed ■it Heretaunga to-day, and resulted in a win for Miss Anderson, of Christchurch, 3 up and 2 to play. L'p till the 13th hole Miss Anderson was six up, and was playing easily the better game. Miss Tweed (Wellington), her opponnnt, won the 13th hole in a comfortable live, and won the 14th in three. She also captured the. 15th in two. The lfith -proved a hard battle, and was halved in five, leaving Miss Anderson the victor 3 up and 2 to play. •>_ Miss Anderson did the 16 holes in 76 and Miss Tweed in 81. At the conclusion of the' match the Countess of Liverpool presented the prizes..
