DEATH FROM HEART FAILURE.

The dead body of an unknown man was found about 10 a.m. on Saturday on the Norwood Road, Darfield, the in-: dications being that he had died but a short while previously. Inquiries made by Constable C. Dunnett as to the man's identity led him to Southbridge yesterday where he ascertained that the deceased was John Smith, a single man, 59 years of age, who had lived on the Racecourse Road, Ashburton. - ..
