Record prices were paid at an auction of Freisian cattle at Aylesbury. Forty-eight averaged £524 per head. One imported cow fetched 5000 guineas, and another 3000. AnEng-l lish-bred two-year-old heifer, brought £IOSO, and another £I2OO.
