Douglas (Miramar), 2 up and 1 to play. NEW ZEALAND AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP. Kapi Tareha beat C. G. Bidwill. 2 and 1. R. M. George beat F. C. Fryer. 2 up. H..E. Crosse beat S. Turner. 7 and 6. D. McCormack beat A. O. Wcllwood, 3 and 2, Imlay Saunders beat H. W. Kelly, 6 and 5. W. 0. Callaghan beat R. G. Ranger, 3 and 2. A. D. S. Duncan beat K. D. Duncan, 4 and 3. S. Morpeth beat H. B. Lusk, 3 and 2. In the afternoon a four-ball bogie handicap was played, R. G. Ranger and W. Coldbeck, of Auckland, 7 up, being the winners. H.- E. In the afternoon, the winners of the first and second pair will play off for the semifinal, as do the winners of the third and fourth pairs.
In the professional match, W. McEwan plays J. W. Clements, and R. C. Butters plays J. Watt.
