PUBLIC NOTICES. 'JO-MORROW, SATURDAY. CEREMONY OF LAYING FOUNDATION STONE OF SOLDIERS* CLUB, By ADMIRAL THE' HONOURABLE THE VISCOUNT LORD JELLICOE, G.C.8., 0.M., G.C.V.O. A PROCESSION of BLUEJACKETS from H.M.S. NEW ZEALAND and RETURNED SOLDIERS in uniform will march from the Railway Station, via Manchester Street, High Street, Colombo Street, mid Gloucester Street. The Procession will enter the Club grounds by Gloucester Street gate. Invited guests and the public will be admitted by Armagh Street gate only. Invited guests who comprise Officers, Chairmen of Local Bodies, etc.. arc asked to present their invitations at the Armagh Street gate (or in lieu thereof cheques). They arc requested to be in the grounds before 10.15 a.m. After that time the gate will be open to the public. Ladies, assisted by Bluejackets, will take up a Street Collection for the Building Fund. A Cheque Stall'in charge of a subcommittee will furnish to Ladies and Gentlemen desiring blank cheques on any Bank free of charge, and will lend fountain or other pens to suit all tastes.
