"Evolution" was the subject of an illustrated lecture given at last night's meeting of the Canterbury Microscopical Society by Mr G. H. Holford. The lecturer traced the gradual evolution of the mammal from the most primitive form of life, describing the organism of each species. Mr Holford was accorded a hearty vote of thanks for his address.
