RIFLE SHOOTING.

MATCH AT KANGIOBA. The annual rifle shooting meeting of Group 11 was held on the Rangiora range to-day between teams representing the Rangiora Rifle Club .and the Territorials. The first practice consisted of five shots rapid and five shots deliberate at a secondclass figure, at 200 yds, and five shots slow at a second-class figure nt ,100 yds. The Territorials were represented by 20 competitors and the Rifle Club by right. There was a nor'-wester blowing, making shooting conditions unpleasant, if not difllcult. Fpr the Hifle Club Sergeant-Major \V. C. Shilton and Rifleman G. .Milne tied for flrsl place with a score of m out of a possible CO. For the Territorials, Pte. W. T. Taylor was first with a score of .T2, and 1). Blake second with a total of 31. Next Saturday a match will be shot off by the Cadets. At the luncheon adjournment the scon's were as follow: RIFLE CLUB.
