HOME AGAIN.
SOLDIERS RETURN. Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 29. The Raranga, with 1075 troops, anchored in the stream this morning. She reported "All well" and clean. The troops disembarked this afternoon. The steamer came via Panama, and had a good voyage, marred by losing one of the ship's complement at sea— Private D. McDougall. It is reported that the men voted solidly against Prohibition. The-Nelson and Westport men go by the Nikau this afternoon, and the Otago and Canterbury men by the Maori to-night. The Pictbn men leave by the Pateena to-morrow. The Tainui, with 505 troops, also from the United Kingdom, arrived in the stream early this afternoon. The t-oops are expected to disembark at 8 a.m. to-morrow.
