A FARMER'S SUICIDE.

An inquest was held at Palmerston or Saturday touching the death of Willian Johnston Mc.Ara Ross, who was fchine' dead in bed at tho residence of hi father, James Ross, at Bushey Road, wit! a revolver at his side. Evidence showed that deceased was a single man, 46 year of age, was strong and healthy until he went to the Boer war, where ho had enteric. He also was thrown from a hors, about twelve years ago, and was unconscious for nine days. He complained of feeling weak and sometimes sufferjd from fits of depression. The jury returned a verdict that the cause of death was a bullet wound self-inflicted while suffer ing from temporary insanity.
